A small group workshop to help mothers in their second or third trimester prepare for birth. Utilising concepts of balance, gravity, movement and postures with and without props (fit ball, birth sling, yoga blocks etc).
A small group workshop to help you rebalance after birth. We will work with your body to help you heal, realign and reconnect to yourself after birth. Each workshop will be themed on a specific element of postpartum healing; pelvic floor, return to exercise, scar tissue healing, pelvic organ prolapse, abdominal wall recovery.
We will work with your body to create space for your baby to grow, ensuring more comfort for you too. We'll use tools to help baby attain an optimal position in utero prior to birth that promotes a smoother labour. And we'll promote awareness and relaxation in your pelvis and pelvic floor tissues to facilitate expansion during the birth process.
These workshops will be lead by senior Osteopath and co-owner Haylee Finn. Haylee has almost twenty years experience as an Osteopath, with a large portion of her career being in the perinatal space. Haylee is currently booked months in advance for her 1:1 sessions hence these small 1:4 sessions are a wonderful opportunity to tap into her wisdom.

Recovering after a caesarean is no easy task. I've been there too. In this workshop we will delve into supportive healing practices to improve scar pliability such as movements and postures and castor oil packs. We'll also discuss nutrition for healing and introduce you to practices like 'looking at your scar' and if you want to, hands-on 'scar tissue release'.
We ask that you are at least 12 weeks postpartum to attend but it's also never too late to come along, even if it's been years since you have birthed. And guess what, there's more. To celebrate the launch of these workshops, you'll receive a bonus gift box containing essential rebalancing tools to continue your healing at home.

Unfortunately not. Osteopaths aren't covered for small group exercise classes yet but it's something we are lobbying for change for!
Our postpartum workshops are designed to be attended at various stages based on their specific theming. Our Healing after Caesarean birth is safe to attend once you are at least 12 weeks postpartum- this allows time for scar healing to take place. (*if you have experienced a wound infection, you need to allow at least another 8 weeks from the infection date.)
Not at all - you are welcome to come along! We just ask that you fill out a client intake form that you'll receive in your confirmation email after booking so that we have some details about you before we meet.
Wear something comfortable that you can move around in - exercise attire is great. And please bring along a drink bottle.
Depending on the theme we always try to accomodate the little people. For our Healing after Caesarean birth workshop we ask that you come with your hands free so we can use them to access some healing modalities.
