Kerry graduated from Victoria University, Melbourne in 2012 and has been working at Rebalance Osteopathy ever since. Growing up in Warrnambool, from a very young age Kerry played as much sport as she could possibly fit into her day. She became addicted to tennis, but after a bad knee injury she decided to take up cycling instead. Her experience with sporting injuries and a genuine passion for optimal health inspired her to a career in the health field, which she initially thought would be physiotherapy. However, once she encountered Osteopathy she was hooked, and has never looked back.
Kerry’s special interest areas include nutrition and holistic health, chronic pain, scar and fascial treatment, cycling performance and workplace ergonomics. Her favourite principle of Osteopathy is that the body is capable of self-regulation, self-healing and health maintenance. Kerry believes the body has an innate ability to heal itself, and is constantly working towards its best state of function and our role as Osteopaths is to support this process. She uses a combination of gentle osteopathic techniques, mobilisation, soft tissue work, dry needling, and fascial release techniques.
Outside of Rebalance Osteopathy, Kerry enjoys working as a local cycling coach and she also spends a lot of time helping her husband Shaun out at Royal Bikes doing the book work. Kerry and Shaun share their home with their whippet Bennie and she has previously spent six months travelling around Europe in a motorhome, and also time spent exploring Vietnam.
