Taylor Johnstone ~ Osteopath

Meet Taylor!  Originally from Warrnambool, Taylor has come full circle, returning to Rebalance Osteopathy – the very place where he first discovered the profession. Since graduating from Victoria University in Melbourne in 2021, Taylor has worked in Swan Hill and, more recently, Bali.

Taylor takes a deeply curious approach to understanding the body, with a particular interest in the finer details that make each person unique. Embracing the holistic mind, body and spirit philosophy of Osteopathy, he takes a broad approach to assessment and may explore and treat areas of the body you wouldn't immediately associate with your symptoms. He particularly enjoys working through complex and persistent health concerns, combining hands-on treatment with simple, practical changes at home to support lasting improvements.

Creating a safe and supportive treatment environment is important to Taylor. He aims to work with the body, allowing it the best possible opportunity to restore balance and function.

Taylor has experience working with a diverse range of people, including elite and recreational athletes, pregnant and postpartum women, farmers, tradies, teenagers and older adults. He is confident using a broad range of treatment techniques, including myofascial release, counterstrain, HVLA manipulation and cranial osteopathy. Whether your body responds best to a gentle approach or something firmer, Taylor adapts his treatment to suit your individual needs.

Taylor has a particular interest in headaches, migraines and persistent symptoms following concussion. This interest is informed by his own experience, alongside additional professional training in these areas.

Outside the clinic, Taylor trains and competes in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, surfs when the water isn't too cold, and enjoys a good book. He's always happy to swap travel stories or recommendations.
